Three strikes and you are out, doctor! I will not becoming back for another surgery "attempt"
I was referred to Dr Dones for spinal stenosis and spine issues. I was able to see him within 3 weeks of referral, yes, he has a waiting room full, but take into consideration what his speciality is...I wouldn’t want a general dr or a general surgeon who was not a specialist in dealing with my spine.. i was surprised when they signed me up for therapy, per his instructions so i could be some stronger going into surgery. He arranged for a neck brace ahead of time for my comfort. successful
Great staff and great doctor very friendly and professional, the only problem is having to wait for usually around 2 hours to see the doctor. I would definitely recommend Dr Dones to anyone with spinal problems.
I have been waiting on an authorization for an MRI follow up for the past 2 months, got it approved for the wrong facility & they haven't resubmitted it again to the insurance which the insurance just takes 24 hrs to approve. Office staff NEVER answers phone calls or they either hang up on you!
I reputable neurosurgeon that surgery was damage (risks are greater than benefits he said) , am 100% free!!! i.life. . ... . . . , . . ,
Had testing done outside of this office, then was never called by his office to review the results. Guess I had to call them . Never really had a follow on any of the test. ALSO was charged over $2000 for a "piss" test!! I called the lab that did the test, Hill Country Toxology . They asked if I was on fixed income, if so I did not have to pay it...what If I had just mailed the check in? AND what in the world are they doing all those test on!! I am an elderly lady and not taking drugs!
I have had the worst experience with the office staff...they do not seem to care at all about the patient..every task is a chore for them..Dr Dones seems to be a great Surgeon unfortunately he has more than his fair share of rude and uncaring insensitive medical clerks...I'm sorry to say..making a different choice will save you alot o grief
did not do referral to dr. hilmy after several weeks of calling and e-mails never forwarded CT scan after continuous calls and e-mails will not return to this office
