Dr Ticker is by far the best orthopedic shoulder surgeon. His expertise in this field is quite impressive as het roughly explains all processes of his procedure. Dr Ticker has definitely proven his intelligence and expertise in the techniques he uses to make the surgery the least invasive he possibly can. His post-op protocol is as well defined with recommendations and or restrictions for the best possible recovery. I highly recommend Dr Ticker .. Kathy Gweta

I went for a 2nd & 3rd opinion for a rotator cuff surgery. Dr. Ticker was the most thorough in explaining everything. In fact he performs ONLY rotator cuff surgeries and I can guarantee he has more rotator cuff surgeries under his belt than any other doctor on Long Island.

I had rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder. I got a referral from my primary physician but i wasn't confident after checking the doctor out. After doing some research and asking my PT and friends , the only name that came up was Ticker. Naturally i went for a consult and was immediately impressed. I had the procedure done in October. With a combination of following his instructions and extensive PT and work on my own I must say that after only 3 plus months I feel almost 90% recovered.

On two occasions I used Dr. Ticker. Once for right shoulder and once for left shoulder. He and staff are very professional and explain situations well.

Excellent knowledge of subject matter and he explained issue in a way that was easy to understand and also explained process step by step. I had a shoulder repair and my recovery was easy and he was always available to answer questions and called me back quickly.

Dr Ticker was referred to me by 2 of my friends who had seen him after having shoulder issues. I felt comfortable with Dr Ticker from my initial meeting with him. My pain has been minimal post surgery and I feel so far ahead of where I thought I would be at this point. I would highly recommend Dr Ticker to anyone with shoulder issues.

Dr Ticker told me that he would call the day after surgery. I was surprised that the next day I received a phone call from him after I had gone to physical therapy and he actually had read my chart and commented on something I had said to the therapist that morning. In my opinion that is one of the most important attributes and doctor can have is being true to their words and in my past experience with other doctors, they were never as throughout, compassionate.
