I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out today and Dr. Cowan was awesome. I was really nervous going in, but he made sure I felt ready and kept me calm the whole time. He explained what was happening and kept checking in to make sure I was doing okay, which I really appreciated. The procedure was quick and way easier than I expected. I’m glad I went to him and highly recommend Dr. Cowan! Thanks again Dr. Cowan
I recently visited Dr. Jay Cowan to have three teeth extracted ( July 21 2025 ) and my experience was extremely upsetting. Pritchett Orthodontics referred me to him, and I trusted their referral because I didn’t want to run around to multiple offices. Unfortunately, I deeply regret it. My niece sent me a text saying that Dr.Jay Cowan was being very unprofessional rushing extracting her tooth he never ask her was she ok but was yelling at her basically telling her he had another patient on the other side and she needed not to be making noise and that he would stop working on her if she did not be quite who are u to tell someone about there pain if you was doing it right she wouldnt begin crying she have had teeth pulled and never had any issues he is so unprofessional this is so unacceptable I'm so mad she ... read more
I had a procedure last year that was mainly paid for by insurance. Then, received a bill six months later claiming going to collections. Called and resubmitted my dental insurance and had a zero balance. AGAIN two months later saying I owe money. The phone number on the bill is not a working number, and no response to emails. The appointment itself started almost an hour late.
Competence that inspires confidence. This doctor and his support staff are excellent.
