I had a Large Weiss Ring floater evaporated by Dr Karickoff about 5 or 6 years ago. I was repeatedly told at home in my large city that nothing could be done and I would get used to seeing it. It was a terrible 4 months and had to resort to seeing a psychotherapist which didn’t help. I did my own research, sent an email and Dr Karickoff called me immediately to explain everything. My vision got significantly impacted by a massive floater swimming in the back of my eye (a piece of optical nerve detached and feel into the back of my eye basically). How lucky for me to have found Dr Kharickoff who was able to obliterate it with laser pulses and spared me the complications of going through a vitrectomy. I am so grateful to him and hope he never retires. He is one of two doctors who perform this procedure worldwide but no one has his level of experience. So glad I found him!

Removed my floaters several years ago and I've had no problem since.

My operation with Dr. Karikhoff went exceptionally well. I suffered an eye injury while playing sports that left me with huge floaters. The two doctors that I went to that were in my Kaiser plan told me that, “Nothing can be done..you will have to learn to live with it.” This left me quite depressed for weeks until I found Dr. Karikhoff's website. This website will not allow many more words, but feel free to call me at 301-461-2326. He did an amazing job. Bob Daly
