Dr. John Poon’s practice has been one of the best optometry experiences I’ve had in Victoria. He and his staff are thorough, professional, and genuinely caring, taking a sincere interest in their patients’ lives beyond the eye exam. Even after a four-year gap between visits, Dr. Poon remembered me and the details of my previous appointments, showing genuine concern and offering thoughtful, actionable solutions for the health issues he observed. 10/10
Our family has been going to Dr Poon for the last few years and we love it. Staff is very friendly and helpful, the office is very welcoming to kids and the examinations are very thorough. I appreciate being shown what’s happening with my eye health, not just rushed through and given a prescription. They also seem to update their equipment and technology, a very different experience from previous clinics I’ve been to!

I went in to Dr. Poon's office for an emergency same day eye exam when I was diagnosed with uveitis, and Dr. Poon and his staff were amazing! They made me wait there while they found me me an ophthalmologist appointment for the same day as well - almost unheard of given how long waitlists normally are! The level of care and dedication they show their patients is extraordinary, I'm so grateful to have found them!
I've been seeing Dr. Poon since I was young, and I truly can't imagine going to anyone else for my eye care. Over the years, they’ve consistently shown a perfect balance of professionalism and personable care. The entire team is always welcoming, and the atmosphere at the clinic makes every visit feel comfortable and stress-free.
