Dr. Olarte is an excellent physician in every respect. His knowledge of up-to-date pharmacology and his compassion, as well as his excellence at both listening and communication, have been life-changing for me. My gratitude to him is immense. Not only does he have much wisdom in his counsel, he has a warm and friendly nature. He excels at both cbt and psychotherapy. He helped me so much when my husband became seriously ill and died. He’s a good doctor and a good person.
I usually don't write reviews but I have seen Dr. Olarte sinse he was a student at UNC. He is a great and trusted doctor that has helped me on so many things and not just just phsychiatry. I feel like Dr. Olarte is as much a trusted friend as a great doctor. Really good guy!
I have recommended several people to Dr. Olarte. He is kind, patient, thorough, knowledgable, and trustworthy. I have had negative experiences with psychiatrists in the past, so I was skeptical going into my first appointment with him. He instantly put me at ease and was awesome about communicating with me and laying out my treatment options. I have become the person I knew I could be because of his care. I have been seeing him for almost a year now and have no plans to ever switch doctors.
