Don't bother. He doesn't listen to what is going on with the patient and does not follow-up. There was something obviously going on with me, but when labs came back normal there wasn't any other testing ran or even a phone call "hey so the labs came back normal but there's something going on so let's look at....". Nothing. He has gotten one medical diagnosis correct in the 2 years I've been with him. He is OK. Not very caring/ personable.Does not explain, for an autoimmune condition like Hashimoto's, thyroid-has alot to learn about what needs to be tested and brought into the optimal range. He prescribes synthroid, at the bottom of the list of preferred treatments. And needs to ask about symptoms etc, not just look at one test level of TSH and say it's fine. big problems with understanding what it causes, he says-You need to exercise and lose weight. Really? We have been with Dr. Panozzo for a year and couldn't be more pleased. He is not only an excellent medical professional, he listens to his patients and answers any questions until you're completely satisfied. He gives his full attention to the patient. His suggestions are practical and realistic, and he personally calls to give test results and follow up when there's been a medical issue. I didn't think this kind of medical care existed today! We recommend him regularly to family and friends.
Dr. Panozzo treats the patient as much as he does medical conditions. I have been seeing him for almost two years and have complete confidence in him.
My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Panozzo for a little over a year after leaving our last "corp" doctor's office where we saw constant turnover and were not able to get an appointment for days. What a breath of fresh air this Dr. and his staff have been. I couldn't recommend this Dr. more highly!
Dr. Panozzo is a great doctor! He is efficient, caring, and approachable. I highly recommend him as a family practice physician for women, men, the young and the not so young. I also feel he has a terrific staff. Every appointment my family has made at their office, we've been put into an exam room at or before our actual appointment times; rarely will you need to wait in the waiting room for longer than 3-5 minutes.
