Dr. Oglesby did a bedside ultrasound and told me I had polyps in my uterus, that one of my ovaries was covered in cysts, and that I had Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. I had no other procedures or tests to confirm the PCOS diagnosis. He pushed a D&C procedure on me and said it was the only option. After finding a new OBGYN, it was confirmed I do NOT have PCOS and did not need that surgery at all! Dr. O delivered my sweet baby in July and I would most definitely recommend. Makes you feel comfortable and safe in such a scary time. Only wish he was here permanently
My IUD had expired and I needed it replaced. My first appointment with him I went into his office for removal and replacement, only for him to tell me he could not find the strings and take me to ultrasound where he then said I would need surgery to have my IUD removed. He didn’t accept my insurance so he referred me to another GYN. This GYN removed and replaced my IUD with 10 minutes of first meeting me. Sounds like Dr. Oglesby was just trying to make as much money off me as possible regardless of the effect to my health.
I seen John in office for a new pregnancy which this is my first. Unfortunately the way I got treated made me leave. I tried explaining how I felt and my concerns about my daily medication. He suggested I stop them completely and that I would be fine. I talked to my counselor and they said absolutely not. That my unborn baby and I would be fine! Dr. Oglesby is the best OB/GYN I’ve ever worked with!
He got me hooked on pills so he could keep doing exploratory surgery over and over again. I went along with for years, because he was giving me narcotics. 5 years later I have ptsd and can't trust any doctor. He acts like u are his favorite patient, but he is greedy and could care less about u and only wants to make money.
Best OBGYN wish he would come back to Utah. I have yet to find a doctor since, that I am completely comfortable with.
Dr Oglesby was polite and but extremely busy. Breezed through our appointment and spoke so fast I couldn't follow what was going on. Left the appointment feeling disappointed. I think he just has too many patients to really give the time I'm looking for. His office also told me lab results would be ready in 10 days and they would call me. It has now been 16 days and I cannot get them to answer the phone.
I am a registered nurse and Dr Oglesbys patient and he is one of the best doctors ever.
