All Office Staff and Medical Assistants are pleasant and professional. They provided clear communication about all aspects of treatment.
I have just completed my appointment with Dr. Whitehead to remove glaucoma in both eyes as well as putting in the RxLAL Light Adjustable Lens and am amazed how wonderful the procedure was and how he was able to adjust the lens so that I do not have to wear any glasses for far or near. I am able to read very small print on prescriptions as well as warnings. Amazing lens and Dr. Whitehead was precise, professional, and answered any questions I needed. I have been going to the Evergreen Eye Clinic on Capital Hill with Dr. John J. Whitehead Eye Doctor Seattle | Seattle Location | Evergreen Eye. I am so glad that my optometrist recommended him to me. I have all the respect for his professionalism, knowledge and trust him with my eyes totally. The clinics I have visited with him this last two years have all had updated instruments and the Office and Surgical Teams have been very professional.
Very professional, accommodating and procedures went well by far.
I have never written a review in my life but this requires it. I was referred to the practice and intake was fine. I scheduled the surgery for 2 eyes 2 months in advance and paid in advance. I entered for the first surgery and the experience was awful. Despite my having scheduled and paid months in advance, I called the day before to find out check in time and they said I was not on schedule although I had 5 appts scheduled around it. would not recommend him! Took my insurance money put in a product( eye plug) fell out within an hour. Said he would order a smaller one and call me when it came in, and just come in he will put another one in at no cost. They never called me after I called them three times to check. When I finally got to talk with him. He said he would be glad to put another one in but would charge me again for an office visit. Plus gave me every excuse as to why he could not just put one in and not charge me.
While Dr. Whitehead is professional and appropriate, the same can not be said for his office personnel who make errors and then blame the patient.
