He took hypocrite oath, yet doesn't abide by that!He is dismissive, condescending, shot.Short sighted, overt attitude to rush you.Didn't want to listen to my wanting to provide background history
Would not recommend. Gave extensive background data and prior reports but didn't listen too well regarding the current symptoms, nor seemed to care about a diagnosis and treatment plan. He just ordered a slew of tests, which revealed nothing, according to him.
I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. John Halperin. As a new patient, I'm utterly impressed by his lightning-fast communication, promptness, efficiency, and professionalism. Dr. Halperin is incredibly focused and attentive. He listens attentively and addresses concerns with care, never dismissive or condescending. His proactive and responsive approach is unmatched. Every message I've sent through the system receives an immediate response, showcasing his dedication to patient care. Quick example-this morning my results were lo... read more
he was terrible, did not listen to me and dismissed my very serious symptoms and offered no help
Condescending clown who is too old to practice. Opinions from academic neurologists all contradicted what he was saying. Stay away from this disaster
I've been a patient of Dr. Halperin's for many many years and have always found him to be kind and humorous while also obviously brilliant and highly accomplished. Great manner and compassionate - but never patronizing - in discussing a disorder (seizures) which can be frightening and fraught. I've recommended him many times and will continue to do so.
Dr Halperin was thorough in his examination and gave me some excellent suggestions for my problem. He was kind and personable with a good sense of humor as well. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a neurologist!
Visited him when i developed twitching and sleep myoclonus. conducted EMG test without needle, useless. Told me i need to take some time off to destress, dont have anything serious. Within 4 months, received as diagnosis from thankfully, another doctor. Dismissive, doesn't listen well, would not recommend.
Saw me 35 yrs ago for muscular dystrophy. Always honest and never mislead me about snake oil cures. Havent seen him in at least 15 years. Sent him an email recently and he responded right away. Trusted him more than any of my other drs. Gave me straight answers not just the ones I wanted to hear. Hope all is well Dr. H
