I used to live in Chicago and would take a train 45 minutes just to see a great dentist. It is only every 6 months, so it pays to see a great one. I did not have a good experience with a dentist on Harrisburg Pike and was finally referred to the Dr. Gotwalt family practice. Both Dr. John Gotwalt and Dr. Sara Gotwalt are fantastic. Super qualified and efficient
Well I have to say Dr. John is one of the nicest dentist I have ever come across. I think he is the best but what makes the difference is his personality! He makes you part of your care choices. He really seems to care deeply about you as a person. Not just doing a job ( that he does very well) but caring about how you feel about that work that will get done. I appreciate the whole office. Even though she declared me "dentally boring" yesterday, the fact that my teeth are in such great shape - and thus trigger no exciting interventions - stems in part from the excellent care I receive at Dr. Gotwalt's office. You know you have a good dentist when you have to devise a strategy for sitting in the chair, mouth open during cleanings, but still ready to talk, laugh, and have a good time while all this is happening!
John hurt me and Melissa laughed about it!! I'm not coming back.....until my next appointment!
They are the best! Very sociable and friendly dentist and hygienist. They like to talk and make me feel at ease.
