Have been there in several of their offices and are concerned and willing to help! I think a lot of people have misconception of what surgery they’re going into my primary physician told me up front what to expect! And helped several times
Dr. Chung explained thoroughly the procedure and expected outcome. It took a little over an hour from when I arrived for my surgery to be completion. It was pain free and I am pleased with the results.
Terrible, lack of listening, arrogant, missed basal cell cancer for over a year. In Dec. 2021, I had a successful Mohs surgery with Dr. Chung. He told me he got it all, and I had no more cancer left. Over the following two years, I kept going back to Dr. Chung for semi-annual body scans. Six months after surgery, I started complaining about a pinpoint pain and nodule in the same location as my prior Mohs surgery. He and his staff told me it was nothing, likely scar tissue, I had NOTHING to worry about. I finally went to a 'r... read more
After a successful Mohs surgery, I kept going back to Dr. Chung. Afterwards, I had several body scans with Dr. Chung, where I complained about a pinpoint pain and nodule in the same location as my Mohs surgery. He and his staff told me it was nothing, likely scar tissue. I finally went to a 'real' doctor that listened, did a biopsy and then had to perform 3 layers of Mohs surgery to remove basal cell carcinoma where Chung said there was nothing. Arrogance has no business in a doctors office. You are trusting your life to a d... read more
Dr. Chung performed an incision on my forearm which has healed nicely. Dr. Chung made me feel completely at ease and well cared for. He and his staff are professional and competent.
I did not have a good experience with him regarding my skin cancer surgery. He is the plastic surgeon and he gave someone else instructions on how to close up my incision. He didn't do the stitching himself. I had a small spot on my forehead, they put 8 stitches in to keep it from "puckering", probably only needed two. Spot opened back up as soon as I got the stitches out and then I just had an open wound which looked the same as if they hadnt put stitches in at all. You would think if you get charged for a plastic surgeon, ... read more
Went to see Dr. Chung for MOHS procedure on my face. He was to be the surgeon but the nurse did the entire surgery and the reconstruction went very wrong. All Dr. Chung did was look at his iPad and draw on my face. Further, unsanitary surgery practices caused bacterial infection. It’s been 8 weeks and I’m still not healed and will need corrective surgery. I was so afraid for my safety that I could not go back and went to another Doctor who actually handles patient care himself. Having a nurse perform surgery instead of the s... read more
Everytime I was scheduled for a appointment , there were 30 other people with the same time appointment time and when I was called in the office to get my skin cancer checkup, Dr Chung did not spend more than 2 minutes with me and didn’t check my scalp or behind the ears or between my toes or under my feet but he always did find 3 or 4 spots to freeze! My waiting time to see the Dr was sometimes 2 hours and so I stopped going there in 2013!
Never met Dr. Chung even though they were going to do radiation therapy on my leg for skin cancer. I had it surgically removed in another doctors office. I was told it was benign.
