This awful, so-called doctor preformed rotator cuff surgery on my mom. Immediately after surgery he left the hospital. In the recovery room my mom's heart rate dropped to 5 beats per minute. Meaney was nowhere to be found. No one was able to contact him. He didn't come back to check on my mom until the next morning. She was in absolute agony and had been all night. Dr Meaney is a fantastic physician and I am totally happy with him and his office staff! Dr Meaney is attentive, caring and has a great bedside manner even with a big tough retired Fire Captain such as myself! He allowed me to participate in my medical care! My recovery has been phenomenal to myself, my physical therapists and Dr Meaney himself! I love this doctor!
Have been going to Dr Meaney for over 15 years, he has done surgery on both knees and shoulder. I have always had a great outcome. He and his staff take care of you in a timely manner. Will continue to see him and recommend him to family and friends.
Dr. Meaney was efficient, friendly, thorough and, above all, produced excellent results in giving me a new knee joint. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering knee replacement surgery.
I had both knees replaced by DR Meaney at the same time, and as far as I am concerned he is the best. If your appointment is at 10:15, you are in his office talking to him at 10:15. He has to be the physician n the world that values his patient's schedule. I highly recommend this Dr. He is great.
Wife had a total knee replacement. She's an ER nurse, so asked around and everyone she talked to (former patients, ortho nurses and other professionals) recommended him due to skill, care and low infection rate. We've been more than pleased; she was able to return to work (12-hour shifts) within 10 weeks.
He did not ask to inject my knee with cortisone but killed me doing it. He also did not know there are tears inside the knee as he did not have an MRI. I would never go back to this doctor.
Great overall experience! I wouldn't trust anyone else.
I would not take my dog to this surgeon. After an major rotator cuff surgery, and extreme pain post-surgery, he essentially told me he wasn't interesteNd. My hospital room-mate even commented that he was a jerk. Had NO compassion for me, despite the fact that I was in horrific pain. And a family friend had knee surgery with him and he had a terrible experience as well.
