Dr. Cohen and Dr. Markus saved my sanity by correctly diagnosing and conservatively/appropriately treating recurrent corneal erosions. I have now managed to prevent erosions (RCE) for over a year (as opposed to having them twice nightly). I recommend Dr. Cohen, and this practice, highly.
My personal experience has been nothing but exemplary with Dr. Cohen, likewise my wife. He and other members of his staff did marvelous work for my elderly mother who suffered with macular (sp) degeneration. Dr. Renno of the 1960 Eye Surgeon staff enabled my mother to maintain some vision for approx 12 to 15 years. Without such quality care my mother would have spent the remainder of her life in darkness. No price can be put on that, no rating sufficient. To wait so what, blindness though!
He saved my vision. I will always be grateful. He has a dry demeanor but is very knowledgeable and will answer any and all questions.
Complete desregard for patient time. I was made to wait 1-1/2 and 2 hours for doctor exam last 3 times I went. First 2 times everything took just 1 hr. but after that time in the waiting room was atrocious. Obviously way over booked. They told me I should allow 3 hrs per visit,I prefer to go somewhere they are more respectful of patience's time.
Dr Cohen has done cataract surgery on both my husband and myself. We found him very professional and easy to talk to. He answered all our questions. We did not find the wait to be excessive. We both received excellent care. With all the times we have been to his office we have not found the wait to be excessive.
The wait is simply not worth it.
Horrible. Waited two hours to be seen and then staff forget to call in my medication because they were so ready to go home. I have an eye infection and couldn't go without it all weekend. I still haven't relieved my medication and it was like pulling teeth an nails to get them to do it for me!
