Dr Goode was excellent. I had broken my humorous bone - snapped in half. After a trip to ER on Wednesday, I was recommended to Tucson Orthopedic Institute. When I called on Thursday, they said they had no appointments open, but they found one doctor who could see me. I went in, and she looked at everything, but that she didn’t treat breaks like this. She texted a few of the doctors who did in their practice, though, and Dr. Goode responded and then saw me. He was so much fun that I almost forgot my pain. He told me that I nee... read more
Expect to wait a long time in the waiting room. Like 2 plus hours with no acknowledgment or apology. The doctor himself was very friendly and the surgery center where I ended up having wrist surgery, I felt positive about. However, most of the support staff made the process a bit frustrating. I felt at times rushed and or not listened to. There were complications that were not the doctors fault, so i had questions and follow up, that i felt could have been handled better. Dr. Goode and his assistant Liz are exceptional people and competent, professional, caring, compassionate health care providers. They instill confidence and I trust, without question, the advise and treatment. I couldn't feel more comfortable with any other orthopedic doc and feel fortunate that I Dr. Goode and Liz treat my orthopedic issues. I highly recommend Dr. Goode's services.
No questions were asked, just a x-ray and a “diagnosis “, then an injection. Injection didn’t help much at all. And now a revisit and hopefully a few questions about possible injuries and fixes. Definitely no more injections. They only mask the problem, they don’t fix it.
Professional and caring
Dr. Goode, not only listens, but is extremely caring.
I get surprised when I get arthritis in places I didn’t even know I had. I enjoy Dr Goode but was lucky enough to be seen by his PA who is well trained and fully prepared for visits such as my. Thumb is self destructing and attacked by arthritis. I had a flare and the pain level hit new heights. I had an injection given by Doctor Goode last year and had another one done by the PA. You can trust them both.
There are often long wait times but that's because he communicates with you and listens to what you say.
Dr. Goode was able to give me options for further treatment, which is what I asked for. He was seen for a second opinion. Wish I had seen him before I had surgery elsewhere.
