As I sit in dr.joels Steinway office today that has been completely remodeled I reflect on my memories through the almost 21 yrs of coming here from my first baby now 20 through my second now 15 to my last now 3 it looks so modern and pretty but it's missing one thing him dr.joel has retired a new doctor takes his place dr.e she's also a very nice and capable doctor and she herself was a patient of dr.joel still I can't help but get a little teary-eyed at the reality that both dr.joel and his original office just became a me... read more
I have been going to Dr. Joel since 1993. My children are now upset that they have aged out of seeing him and have to go to a regular doctor. Kind, caring, knowledgable staff. Wonderful wonderful doctor. I recommend him to everyone I know who is pregnant and looking for a pediatrician. Lorna Channell
Dr. Stakofsky is a kind and caring doctor with a great bedside manner . Friendly office staff that try to accommodate the patient . Only con is the office aesthetics - needs remodeling / update badly .
Dr. Joel Stakofsky is a truly wonderful doctor who is ALWAYS available and truly cares. My son is 14 years old now and he has autism. Dr. Joel has been there from day 1. He's wonderful with my son and helped us with diagnosing his autism to helping and referring a wonderful surgeon for him. I recommend him to all of my friends who have children and I always will highly recommend him for he is thorough, personable, caring and truly talented. this doctor is too busy in your busniess rather than his own. He is very rough and very rude. would not recommend!
for over 25 years we have extremely happy.... 3 kids and took care of them all to erfection
He is the worlds best Pediatrician it could be 3 am in the morning and he will return your call. I have moved to New Rochelle and I still drive to Staten Island to take my daughter to see him. Good old fashion Dr. that listens and loves children.
