I just learned of her passing yesterday. I see a lot of bad reviews. Being in the medical profession there isnt much I havent see. I will say this. Dr.'s are NOT miracle workers. Many of these negative reviews have one thing in common, they set unrealistic expectations of her and many others I have read about, not just Dr. Raj. I never saw the person many of you negatively refer to. She literally saved my life many years ago. A psychiatrist needs time to evaluate anyone's situation. Its not an overnight process. Trial and er... read more

Was halfway through the visit and was told that she couldn't help me. I had been badly abused by an ex husband and she kept asking me why I kept going back and why I stayed, why I adopted a child. She is definitely not one I would ever recommend for anyone who has undergone any physical or emotional trauma. I left her office in tears and cried the entire way home.

Dr. Raj is excellent. She asks for every single detail and analyzed everything. Picking out Meds for depression and anxiety is difficult, as some won’t work when others will, I know because I’ve dealt with it all my life. I’ve been through many psychs, but Dr. Raj has helped me tremendously and I can’t thank her enough.

reason for 1 star: 1. Office staff is not friendly nor helpful- was texting while dealing with patients. 2. Will not call you to remind you of your upcoming appointments. 3. Doctor bullies patients causing anxiety attacks in her office. 4. Doctor is hard to understand (english). 5. Asks leading questions to make patient answer the way she wants you to.

Last year she put me on so many medicines that i couldnt tell if i was asleep or awake half of the time and felt disconnected ffom my body. I told her about this and she said that if i felt like i was dreaming i should just pinch myself and didnt try to solve anything. She was rude and not compassionate at all

If I could give a zero I would, she was rude, doesn’t listen to Paitents history. Very judgemental, dismisses what Paitent describes as trauma , Paitent states depressed but able to attend class with great effort but isolates, Dr. Raj said “well your not depressed than if you attend classes , suck it up on the weekends and force yourself.” Brags about one of the known worst treatment centers and dismisses any therapist. Wants to Dx in ten min and prescribe meds. Dr feelgood!

I’ve seen a lot of psychiatrists and she has helped me the most. She put me on the right meds the first time. I’ve been stable and felt the best I’ve ever felt last 7 years since I started seeing her. Office is always available for appointment issues. They always work me in if I am on a tight schedule. No, she isn’t warm and cuddly but most psychiatrists aren’t.

This woman is crazy. Takes one word out of 20, tells me i have all this trauma and abuse- which i do not. Ordering me to go to AA because i drank in college and now have a couple of glasses of wine once in while. She raises her voice to me at second appointment when i tell her i havent gone yet. Im there for severe depression and anxiety and she would not let me speak about it. 2 times now ive left her office feeling worse than i did walking in. Nightmare for anyone seeking help.

dont go see this doctor I suffered from her mistreatment of my bipolar disorder and ended in the hospital the next day for nine days because she gave me the wrong medication. the psychiatrist in the hospital took me off all of her bad medication prescriptions and put me on safe effective medications. I have reported her to the board of medical examiners because of her negligence .
