Dr. Gorr is always friendly, and so gentle with her ESI shots. I highly recommend her.
She explained the procedure and results very well. I was able to relax and be comfortable. I found her to be caring and knowledgeable. I will see her again.

Good Doctor – TERRIBLE ACCOUNTING AND POLICIES Husband seeing few years regarding joint issues require injections sporadic basis. Insurance is Medicare/Supplemental. EVERYTIME they insist he pay what they calculate as his co-pay. EVERYTIME they collect is too much and we have a credit on our account. EVERYTIME we have to call several times and make a request to get a refund for our credit and it takes several months. They refuse to send check because still processing another claim
Do not subject yourself to Dr Gorr's egotistical personality. A bug on the floor will be treated better than you. My experience with Dr. Gorr was absolutely horrible. All her concerns were about my slight back pain and continued to focus on this subject. I got rather upset and informed her I was there for the pain in my joints, bones, and neuropathy of hands and feet due to chem and cancer medication. She then told me she could be eating lunch instead of listening to me. NEVER AGAIN.
Compassionate, thorough. No excuses for whining, you gotta cooperate in your own pain management with healthy exercise, lifestyle and clean living. She’s no nonsense. Only way it works...
Love her! Dr. Gorr is kind and very helpful. Her office staff are wonderful, always helpful.
I have been seeing Dr. Gorr for nearly 10 years off and on and I wouldn’t want to work with anyone else around Elizabeth City. She is an excellent doctor who genuinely cares about her patients. She can be very direct with questions and will start every patient off with a reasonable level of treatment whether it be physical therapy, low dose medicine, or a procedure. This is common practice to insure you’re not being over medicated or being put through unnecessary procedures. I highly recommend.
