Dr Shapiro is a trustworthy, caring and observant pediatrician. He has been our children’s pediatrician and despite moving we have tried other doctors but no one compares to him so we just take the extra drive, which says a lot about how special he is.
The epitome of the "Chicago guy." He's nice, direct, and patient. You really can't say anything bad about him.
Dr. Shapiro was our daughter's pediatrician (and our neighbor's kids' pediatrician... and our nephews' pediatrician) from when she was born until she was 3 and we moved out of the area. Our daughter (unfortunately) had a couple of hospital admissions in her first few years, so we got to know Dr. Shapiro well. We were extremely lucky to have him as our daughter's pediatrician. I mean this quite seriously: he was on the short list of reasons why we were hesitant to move away.
