I've had Dr. Young as my primary care physician for several years now. She is thorough, takes the time to explain everything, and give tips on improvement in a nonjudgmental way. And my health is improved. What is the best thing ever, is she is there if and when I need her. No waiting for weeks or sitting for hours to see if I can be fit in somehow. In short, she is excellent.
She took the time to review all my lab results with me and provided written /paper copy of items for follow up by me.
This was my annual physical. We spent 2 hours discussing many different small health issues. Dr. Young had useful suggestions for small habit changes that could make a difference. I didn't have any urgent problems. Just the long term issues of being 77 years young.
The time given and thoroughness of Dr. Young for my wife who has dimentia and special needs. Dr. Young's availability is remarkable, nearly 24/7. She is very well connected to the Medical community and provides escellent referrals.
The level of detail discussed over a 3 hour period. Everything from blood work to EKG, hearing, gait, and lots more. I am very happy and satisfied with the check up. I've always disrobed before a physical, but no doctor has done that now for about 5 years. The examination of my actual physical being was probably no more than 15 minutes, totally clothed. Heart, lungs, ears, and a listen to the abdomen seems the norm these days. No breast exam, palpitate the abdomen, or give the skin a quick look see in case I need a referral.
Dr. Young was very thorough reviewing my lab work and testing, answering all my questions and offering suggestions to improve my health. Very friendly and helpful staff, easy to schedule appointments.
Dismissive and condescending. My appointment was rescheduled and when I finally got in, I waited a really long time and in the end my problem was minimized and not addressed.
I trust Dr. Young with my life! She is very knowledgeable but is able to explain disease processes in terms that I can understand.
