My partner saw Dr. Rea after nearly dying from sepsis caused by diverticulitis (age 21) in April 2023. At the initial appointment, Dr. Rea blamed everything on my partner's weight. I don't know if she knows but diverticulitis is not caused by lifestyle or weight until old age. My partner has a history of fissures and a family history of colon cancer and incontinence. After performing a colonoscopy with active diverticula and polyps shown, their office told her to come back at age 45, which is not the standard of care for thi... read more

I was diagnosed with UC several years ago by Dr Rea. She has performed two colonoscopies since. Working with Dr Massey, they have kept my UC under control, with no flair ups, ever since. She has earned my complete trust and respect for her positive attitude and decision making, even when I was ready to give up, and begging her to do surgery to remove a portion of my colon. I have always found Dr Rea to be kind, patient and willing to listen to and discuss any concerns I have. If I had a daughter, I would want her to grow up ... read more

The wait time is awful as others posted, but my complaint is about Dr. Reas bedside manner. I have awful hemmroids and doctor Rae insisted it was a wart from hpv. She argued over ten minutes with me over this. I haven't been sexually active for 14 years and I get my pap smear every year. She treated me like I was dirty. Anyway, fast forward to two years after the pandemic .had my updated pap smear last week..all normal and negative for HPV. I will be talking with their office manager. Also, she and her assistant were in the ... read more

Dr. Rea is very kind and takes the time with her patients to listen and offer treatment plans. I appreciate her good bedside manner.

I’ll be honest… After reading reviews, I was skeptical about going to see Dr. Rea. One thing I wanted to say is that she listened to what I had to say. As an older woman. I know my body. I know what’s normal and what’s not. She pulled up her stool and we had an actual conversation about what was going on. I got in quickly to get the colonoscopy. Again, before the procedure, we talked. Her staff members were very personable and friendly. Waiting on pathology results now...we’ll see how things go with follow-up once the result... read more

Great surgeon so far who did a fairly complicated surgery. Six weeks post op exam showed success. Golden hands, high skills, compassionate bedside manner, sharp as a tack, and always a big reassuring smile on this competent professional.

I have been twice. She is nice. However, the office is managed poorly. Both times, she was 90 minutes behind and spent about 75 seconds with me. The second time, I was her last patient and everyone was wanting to go home. I was in the exam room for about two hours (I fell asleep under the bright light). It was about 6 p.m. upon leaving for my 3:30 p.m appointment. She was in the room for less than two minutes.

I could not be more pleased with my experience with Dr Rea and the staff of CSGA. Dr. Rea was attentive and took time to listen to my problem. She explained the situation, and we scheduled surgery. Again, the staff from scheduling to surgery and post operative were excellent! The results of my surgery are better than I hoped for and as I told one of the staff there today, "I wish I could hug everyone here". I highly recommend Dr. Rea.
