Doctor skill wise, I guess good. Got rid of my mother's kidney stones with no complications. Talking to him is like talking on a mobile phone with two minutes of battery time left. That is how rushed you feel. My 70 year old mother just shut up because, "That nice doctor seems so busy." This meant I had to deal with her zillion questions via Dr. Google. Don't need an hour of his time, but an extra 2 minutes tacked on the 4 given shouldn't be an inconvenience.
Dr. Schock listened and quickly came up with a plan of action. He also saw me quickly when I had difficulty seeing my previous urologist in Flint.
Awful. He was a consult for a hospital stay a relative had with a follow-up 2 weeks later in his office. He has three of them, went to Livonia location. 35 minute wait past appointment time. Nurse asked for a sample, hadn't read chart to know that there was a catheter. Dr. never did exam, came in, left, nurse put catheter back in, caused lots of pain. Both had awful beside manner. Patient in hospital next day w. major bladder infection Dr. Shock should have caught. Stay away.
