Dr. Cohen is awesome! He was my doctor for 2/3 of my collectomy surgeries. He took my colostomy bag out, and replaced it with a j-pouch. He also repaired my hernia after I overexerted myself following my j-pouch surgery. Through it all, his staff was available via telephone or in person, whenever needed. The consultations are very quick, that is the only real downside, but his practice and knowledge are "spot on."
This doctor is very good, extremely knowlegeable, caring and concerned.If he can definitely help, if not totally cure you.
Dr. Cohen was arrogant and had no empathy for his post operative patient that laid in pain for 7 hours before he responded to multiple pages by nursing staff ans office. He was rude and disrespectful.
Dr Cohen has great bed side manner.I went to him for rectal pain and he was able to give me a quick diagnosis. Dr Cohen is a great surgeon as well and I have had no problems since my surgery! I would highly recommend Dr Cohen
Dr. Coehn is a good doctor.I just don't see how the ratings on him are that bad from others here. We tried other medicines before my surgery. They did not work and as a last resort we are going through with surgery. I would recommend him.
I've been going to Dr. Cohen for a few years, and I've read the other reviews here for him. Some I agree with and some I don't. Dr. Cohen is overworked, that's for sure. Yes I sometimes get frustrated with waiting for him, but when he does come into my room I feel he's making a conscious effort that I am the center of his attention for the time that he's with me. I would absolutely never recommend Cohen to anybody. He was my grandmother's doctor..however we basically never saw him in the year that he was assigned to her. After a year of chasing after Cohen because he would NEVER answer calls or give information when he promised, we moved her to a new doctor where she is receiving legitimate treatment. He has absolutely no bedside manners and couldn't care less what happens to his patients. He gave NO guidance throughout her stay and made the process much more stressful than it needed... read more
