I wouldn’t let him operate on my dead dog. His outcomes are horrible. He is dangerous. Healthy people are dying after elective surgeries. He seems all nice, but once your surgery is done, he’s done with you.
I had a terrible experience with Dr. Jeffrey Cohen. I was billed for services not rendered. I was not provided with informed consent regarding the procedure and it resulted in an unexpected high out of pocket expense. Neither staff nor Dr. Cohen were helpful and the treatment was not beneficial. Hundreds of dollars were spent with no results. Just a money hungry practice without even a hint of patient satisfaction as a focus. Go somewhere else.

see at your own risk,went to see him for hemorrhoids had surgery,lived in hades for 1yr and was told after10 second folluw up visit each time that healing takes up to a year,at the 1 yr anniversary i say im still suffering extreme pain so another 10 second exam and gee you have an anal fissure so another surgery,3yrs later comes the 1st anal fistula of 4 and of the complex type,cant get rid of recurring infection,expect to die from this.
I beg of you, do not make the same mistake I did by allowing him to do surgery on me.
When he is done with your surgery, he is done with you. Doesn't seem to ever wants to be wrong so he wouldn't prescribe an antibiotic I needed even tho many staff thought it should be given Five different home health care nurses called about the incision and he never even called them back. Ended up back in the hospital for over 2 weeks and rehab for almost 2 months. Have come in contact with many people who he did surgery on and only 1 is satisfied. Would never recommend. Horrible complications after surgery and then Dr, Cohen denied that he knew me. Had to have surgery redone by another Dr. to repair my leaking colon. More than one doctor turned down my referral and told me they could not get involved because of the mistakes that were made by Cohen. Cohen cashed the insurance check even though he claimed not to know me.
Dr. Cohen puts 100% of his effort into making his patients feel safe and comfortable from the moment he meets them, until they leave the office/hospital. He answers calls at any hour of the day or night and is always very reassuring. I would not recommend anyone else!!!
Sounds like the complainers wanted pain meds... Dr. Cohen was exceptional. Great manners, great personality, and funny.
