Had two cataract surgeries with Dr Minkovitz and they were both totally successful. Am so pleased with outcome. Would definately recommend him and also the entire staff.
I had a very pleasant experience which I appreciated.
Dr. Minkovitz misrepresented the outcome of my cataract surgery. After the surgery was completed, my vision was alarmingly fuzzy. I asked to see the doctor and when he came, he told me I was wasting his time as he had other surgeries to perform. I was feeling dizzy and not prepared to leave but was rushed out by the nurse. He also put in a punctal plug that highly inflamed my eye to the point I had to go in for an emergency appointment to have it removed. Again, he was impatient and unkind.

Dr. Minkovitz is one of the best doctors I've ever been treated by. He's very skillful and has fantastic patient/doctor rapport. My cataract surgery was painless and healed perfectly in a short amount of time. I would highly recommend him for any issue regarding eyes. And all the staff I interacted with were professional, pleasant, and efficient.
Cataract surgery came off without a hitch, very comfortable and convenient, fine result. New lens set for exactly the distance agreed. Dr. Minkovitz followed up with a phone call the night after surgery and saw me in his office the next day.
He is the best I've ever seen. He saved my vision.
I would absolutely recommend dr. minkovitz to everyone=young and old! he has all the best qualities that a dr. needs: knowledge, conscience, compassionate,respectful, polite, suburb dr. patient relations! he even checks up on you at home....who else does that, these days! when you find a great dr. you hang on to them.....I'm definitely hanging on to this one!
