He is very caring and explains everything in a way I can understand.
At the initial meeting for cataract surgery he explained the various lenses and features available, but also noted which ones wouldn’t be useful in my situation. The surgery was in the morning. That evening, he called me to check and see how I was doing. This was an extra level of care that I wasn’t expecting.The next day at the first post-op follow up he explained how things were going and answered any questions that I had.I have been very happy with him and highly recommend him.

Dr Minkovitz is consistently polite, friendly and in this case, apologetic for being late, as he had an “emergency” patient earlier. He always takes time to explain and answer questions.

Greeted by reception promptly. Nurse Jeremy prepped me for surgery. He sensed my nervousness - especially about the IV needle - and made it painless - literally. Dr. Minkovitz explained the procedure and asked my concerns. He was followed by the anesthesiologist who explain her part in the surgery. I always felt safe and in good hands. The procedure was quick and painless. I was up and on the road quickly. Only one negative, because of a schedule change I waited in the prep room way too long.
