Dr. Minkovitz is a very talented surgeon. He discusses lens options with his cataract patients and fully explains the whole surgical procedure. He also does an amazing job with the surgery itself. Besides being a terrific surgeon, Dr. Minkovitz really cares about his patients. I was particularly impressed when he called me at home right after my cataract surgery to confirm everything was still going well with me.
Dr Minkovitz was very professional, explained things well and clearly wanted to provide me be best possible outcome for my situation.
Dr. Minkovitz is patient and thorough in his work. Not to mention highly educated.!! I went to him for 2 cornea transplants and I'll admit I was very nervous. However, after being with him through so many appointments, I quickly learned he is a very thorough in his work. Both transplants turned out successful and my eye disease is completely gone. Dr. Minkovitz is very thorough, personable, and willing to spend time answering questions and explaining procedures. He pays attention to details and I felt that his high standards meant that things were done carefully and that I was receiving the best possible care. He was taking over for my regular ophthalmologist so he was new to me. I would certainly give him the highest recommendation possible.
