I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Schlueter. He is so caring and he truly listens and cares about me and my opinion. He's cautious in that he changes only one medication or dosage at a time so as to know if I have better or worse symptoms or side effects, we can attribute it to the change. You do have to wait a long time, as he is always running behind schedule. I attribute that to the fact he takes whatever time is needed with each patient. For me, it's worth it. I waited for an appointment to see Dr Schlueter on April 5th @ 12:45. I drove from Carrollton Texas to Ft. Worth. I was looking forward to addressing my concerns with this Dr. I waited until almost 1:00 to be seen. I had a driver and only had an hour. When expressing my concerns about the time the Nurse said: I don't think this is going to work. I asked why and he said. If your going to be pissed off, I suggest you leave. I'm filing complaints with the State and Medicare. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!
I have had the honor of working with, and being in session with Dr. Schlueter when a friend or family member asked me to sit in on their first session. I know Dr. Schlueter to have a passion first & foremost for helping people. He can interact with a patient in a way that is relatable, and makes them comfortable enough to be able to share. He listens well, and cares deeply that his patients get well.. He aims to help a person cope, and flourish, so that they will not need him for a lifetime
I'm very pleased with the Schlueter Group. They are interested in my medical issues and have a concern for me. I've had horrific experiences with other psychiatrists and the Schlueter Group seems like a caring and supportive group.
It is impossible to get a hold of the office staff. The answering service that he uses does not give accurate information whatsoever and they are very rude a majority of the time. I was told about 3 different fax numbers for a very important document and yet, the office is claiming they haven't received any of them. Each time I pick up the phone, I have a new person telling me something different. This is not how a business should be run and it should never be this hard to contact the doctor.
Can never get a hold of the office. Answering service refuses to give me another number to call even after I told them it was urgent. Finding another doctor.
