As a neurosurgeon, I believe in treating disorders of the spine and brain with the least invasive and most effective techniques available. As a fellowship trained spine surgeon, I undertook additional training in spinal surgery following my residency so that i could offer these newer techniques to my patients. While we do focus on cutting edge surgical techniques, our first priority is to try and heal the patient without resorting to surgery.

Excellent first visit with Dr. Laurent for a second opinion on my lumbar stenosis. He came highly recommended. We are proceeding with outpatient surgery in the next few weeks. Looking forward to resolution of my issue and a return to full health. Staff was warm and welcoming, check-in was a breeze.
Unlike many surgeons, Dr. Laurent is interested in the patient as a person. patient with a myriad of questions and carefully explained risks and options.
Dr Laurent was highly recommended for a second opinion.
Quickly handled and next step to complete explained. Dr. Laurent indicated that he would try to speed up this process to relieve my pain.
Dr Laurent performed a minimally invasive L5-S1 spinal fusion. Prior to surgery I could barely walk due to the pain. A few hours after surgery I was up and walking without the horrible pain I had. The pain medicine relived the surgical pain. His bedside manner is very warm and caring. He encourages you to ask questions. He is the best and I highly recommend him for any spinal surgery. Thank you Dr Laurent.
Dr. Laurent listened to everything I had tomsay and was very attentive. He explained everything in an understanding way and was very helpful in many ways. I highly recommend Dr Laurent. Class act physician.
My operation was not successful. Follow through with this surgeon did not exist.

I highly recommend Dr. Laurent. He is a very caring physician. He reviewed my MRI and thoroughly explained the cause of my back pain. Although the cause of my pain does not fall under the care of his specialty he referred me to someone for treatment.
