I have been treating with Dr. Hart for a long time. He is always attentive and listens to my concerns, feeling and issues. I would recommend him to anyone searching for a kind, compassionate and understanding. Dr. Hart understands the medication and treatment specific to the symptoms.
I find Dr. Hart very easy to talk to. He doesn’t delve into my personal life and just helps me with what I ask for. He’s not overly friendly and I find thats easier to work with. He’s very good about listening to how I feel about my medications and let’s me change what I think I need to.
I called Dr. Hart to make an appointment. According to his website, he was accepting new patients. The first question was what insurance did I have. I don't have insurance and told them it would be self -pay - which is not a problem. My visit was not for any illicit reasons - wanting pain pills or legal actions, etc.. but really needing some help. I was told that Dr. Hart couldn't see me. Based on my conversation, it appears to me that Dr. Hart only wants to help patients with insurance.
Very stiff, even if you make jokes to him he won't laugh, there's no patient to doctor connection, he just seems like he wants to do his job and get you out 10-15 minutes max and like your problems don't really matter to him like he's heard it a million times, which I'm sure he has, but that doesn't make it any less effect full to the patient. I always feel uncomfortable and like I will be judged by him. He will just hand you medicine like it's candy.
Dr. Hart was extremely knowledgeable and got to the root of my issue. He laid out options for treatment and did not push anything I was not comfortable with.
Dr. Hart efficiently gets to the heart of the problem and helps his patients. I have been seeing Dr. Hart and I have better control of my symptoms than ever before. He is responsive if there is a problem with my medication, and really understands the way medications effect psychiatric function.
He seems very knowledgeable but was unable to give me meds that solved my issues. I was just given more meds until I was taking 10 pills a day. Still no relief. His office staff is not good. Took in a prescription I was given to the pharmacy they said they have to call his office to verify it when they did his staff said they had no record of that prescription. Very unprofessional, I had to drive and physically pick up the prescription and bring it back to them to show them.
