I went to Dr Gittens because OrthoNeuro is the best foot and ankle place around. I found him down to earth, he doesn’t waste words or a patient’s time by sugarcoating the problem. This is my 3rd bunion surgery, and honestly he said to me that if the first two doctors had done it correctly the first time all of this could have been avoided. I would highly recommend Dr. Gittins. He’s very knowledgeable and takes his work seriously. I was very comfortable about my surgery and pleased with my outcome.
Dr Gittins didnt beat around the bush. My previous doctor experience was all over the place. Dr Gittins gave me his diagnosis and explained why he thought so. It made more sense to me than the previous doctor I saw at another practice. I am hoping this diagnosis is correct and will be getting me the help I need with my pain and numbness in my feet.
Appointment 1 was at 8:15. Saw the doctor for about 4 minutes, after an hour wait, as he migrated to the door while I'm still asking questions. Appointment 2 scheduled at 8:45a and I left at 9:35 after staff said it was still going to be a long while. Did not respect my time. His whole vibe is that he is much more important than you. For appt 2... claimed new system, that seems like their lack of planning for a transition.
The staff were all very attentive and professional. Dr. Gittins had several people in tow that he didn’t introduce. It felt very much like he had decided what was wrong before coming into the room or talking to me at all. He was dismissive and as he was leaving I was trying to get my concern out he spoke over me and said “no dear” then reiterated his diagnosis. It was a complete waste of my time and I’m still in pain.
Dr. Gittins is very knowledgeable, trustworthy, and just “gets” his patients. He has helped me through several running related injuries, and I would recommend him to anyone experiencing foot/ankle issues.
Provides excellent assessment and care. Would like patient summary at sign out.
They took great care of me, were kind and knowledgeable. Very high-end services.
