After 6 misdiagnoses I out my foot down and refused to leave children’s Hospital until they figured out what was wrong with my son. I was immediately referred to Dr. Maclin to whom diagnosed my son in 2020 she was the first doctor to listen to me, explain thoroughly, and be patient with me in learning of my son’s condition. She immediately admitted my son and diagnosed him after many test. She encouraged a healthy diet, patience, educational resources, and continue to allow my son to thrive. Highly recommend her services.

My daughter was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in 2012. We were referred to UAB because of the severity of her disease. After seeing my daughter several times with complaints of severe pain and other symptoms, Dr. Maclin told us that the pain was "in her head " and to "get back to normal life". I can't speak about other doctors in this group but I would NOT recommend Dr. Maclin.
