We moved to Folsom from Long Beach and needed to find a new family doctor as well as specialists. We are so happy we found Healthy Living and Dr. Jay. He went over our medical history meticulously and was able to cut out several medications we didn’t need. He did all of our referrals for specialists. He and the great staff have cared for us for over a year now and we are very happy with Dr. Jay
Worst Dr I have ever dealt with! Medical issues all my life & he didn't even bother going over chart or asking questions... Very condesending & judgemental. Should be a toll taker on Bay Bridge! He wouldn't have to deal with people longer than a few seconds & can judge all he wants without putting anyones health in jeopardy.

I am sorry you felt that I didn't listen to you or care about your health. Even for diseases you've had all your life or treatments you are on, I am always obligated to review your conditions in detail perform my own examination. And I must provide you with advice and education on the latest medical science and best treatment options. Then we discuss together how to best to proceed. I never force any treatment on anybody. I apologize that my methods upset you.
Dr. Golepang or Dr. Jay, as he is informally known, is a very caring and meticulous physician. I recently went to him as a new patient, and I was impressed with him. He even called me at home to check to give me the results of one test and find out how I am doing. The last time a doctor called me at home is 30 years ago in another city. The office staff is very good also.

Our office is high-tech and modern, but when it comes to medicine, we practice it the good old fashion way - with attention, compassion, and care.
