I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Jay Petal. He was dismissive, condescending, and showed little interest in addressing my concerns. Rather than listening to my questions, he seemed impatient and rushed through the appointment. His attitude came across as arrogant, which made it difficult to feel confident in his care. Patients deserve a provider who is respectful, compassionate, and willing to engage in meaningful dialogue — unfortunately, that was not my experience. This month it has been 2 years since Jay performed my knee replacement. My knee still hurts when I sit. I went to another surgeon and he said the pain may never go away. Jay never disclosed that 2 years after the surgery I could still be in pain. I believe he rushed to surgery without exploring other options. My family doctor who referred me to Jay said he would no longer refer Jay.
Dr. Jay Patel is a man of few words but he is an amazing surgeon. I’m so happy with my total knee replacement! The bone-on-bone pain was finally intolerable! I was scared to have surgery because of the long recovery time but I was pleasantly surprised how quick I was back on my feet (& knee!) I was up and being a hostess for a house full of people, a week after my surgery! Dr. Patel has replaced both of my knees. He is a brilliant surgeon and his time is in very high demand. If you have questions, it’s on you to be prepared and ask. I try to make him laugh when I see him with mixed results!!
Dr.Jay Patel is the best Doctor and Orthopedic Surgeon . He receives 10 stars from me as well . Dr. Jay Patel and his surgical staff and his office staff are the best...Dr. Patel cares about you and he is the kindest and a excellent Doctor.
