Absolutely the worst bedside manners I have ever experienced in my life! Rude, condescending, and much more!
When I found that Dr Patel would be available for my right hip replacement and would be performing the procedure, I was thrilled. I knew that the surgery, recovery and aftercare would be flawless. My positive expectation for success was based upon my experience with the work he had done with my left hip replacement revision surgery several years earlier. If it were possible to give a 5-Star+ rating I’d give it right here. Thank You Dr Patel.
I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Jay Petal. He was dismissive, condescending, and showed little interest in addressing my concerns. Rather than listening to my questions, he seemed impatient and rushed through the appointment. His attitude came across as arrogant, which made it difficult to feel confident in his care. Patients deserve a provider who is respectful, compassionate, and willing to engage in meaningful dialogue — unfortunately, that was not my experience. This month it has been 2 years since Jay performed my knee replacement. My knee still hurts when I sit. I went to another surgeon and he said the pain may never go away. Jay never disclosed that 2 years after the surgery I could still be in pain. I believe he rushed to surgery without exploring other options. My family doctor who referred me to Jay said he would no longer refer Jay.
