Dr. Mahajan is really nice and understanding. He takes the time to make you feel like you really matter as a patient and doesn't try to rush you out the door like most doctors do. The only thing I have to complain about are the wait times. Twice, I had to wait an hour in the patient room not knowing what was going on. I would have appreciated a nurse just let me know like say "yeah it will be just a little while longer.. etc" not make me wait there all frustrated waiting to figure out what's going on. Office is way too big, before covid it didnt matter. The best doctor. Spends as much time as needed and seems to care. Gets things done too. His staff seems to know how to push the insurance levers.

I was a patient of Dr. Mahajan from 2015 to 3017. I too thought in 2015 he was kind and personable so I trusted his medical assessments after a hemorhaggic stroke but they were below the standard of care, I was injured severely multiple times filed a medical malpractice claim and he elected to keep confidential under the Nevada statute. Be aware if you go to this doctor have an advocate and get a second opinion before having a procedure your not familiar with. So compassionate to his patient and a wonderful caring doctor. I'm so happy to have a Neurologist who actually listens to you. I have a very rare neurological condition and he knew all about it and as able to explain everything the way I could comprehend. It was very hard for me to find the right Neurologist who has knowledge about my condition. He did all the right test and gave the the correct treatment. He's one the best Doctors in Vegas. He's Very kind, knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. Most importantly, he's able to find the source of the problem. I'm so blessed to have him as my Doctor.

The initial visit with the actual doctor brought me a false sense of hope. The doctor was quite personable and seemed to have a clear understanding of what I was experiencing. I obtained a copy of the MRIs and read them before my "follow-up" visit with an alleged physician's assistant. The way she treated me left me feeling demeaned, insulted and furious! Awful office that can't even do pre-auths correctly. Doctor has great presentation and no follow through. Go anywhere else.

All I can say if you need a neurologist GO TO DR MAHAJAN! Caring and he listens.He doesn't blow you off in 3 mins, he really shows he wants to help you. Also I have to also say if you go see him and he orders a nerve test ask for Lorraine, She helps you get thru a not so fun test with compassion and some laughs. A+++

Seems I can't get away from Dr. Jay! First it was for vertigo. Then he ended my 30yrs of migraine headaches with 3 months of Botox treatments, now gone. Next it was nerve damage from hip replacement surgery, simmered the pain. Well, when I thought we'd quit hanging out, here we are again. I think the other things came about to give me security for when I was really going to need it and a Dr. I could really trust because I now have 3 brain aneurisms. God and Dr. Jay are going to work this out...
