I was contacted by my doctor for a followup visit, and told them that my insurance had changed and I was now on medicaid pending my medicare to come through. I was told on the phone that they didnt take medicaid but I could still pay cash and get a reduced rate as a current patient. That was acceptable to me as I didnt want to change doctors, I just started treatment for serious health conditions and wanted to complete it with them. With my ongoing chronic health problems, I've seen a whole lot of doctors over the years, usually just the ones who will take my insurance. Forget Sosa -- good doc, but he schedules his appointments 10 minutes apart and is often not even there for two hours in the morning while he's at the hospital seeing patients there. And then when you get him, he talks really fast, shows not personal interest, and is hard to understand.
