Experienced new technology for dental hygiene appointment - was awesome. Tara explained the new tech thoroughly before and during, which made me feel at ease and respected. I requested a towel or blanket for comfort behind my neck, and Tara happily provided that and was careful in positioning me throughout, so as not to increase my pain (not dental related). Dr Gyurina, as always, friendly, thorough, concerned. A++ experience. Thank you, Dr Gyurina and Tara, and all Oak Park staff.
Dentists are very thorough and professional. But it seems as if every time I come in they find something new or something that needs fixing. I have spent thousands of dollars there, even with dental insurance. Overpriced! State of the art equipment and very aesthetic office could be the reason. I have a different hygienist every time (turnover?) The hygienist I had just this past week too talkative and silly acting.
The cleaning of my teeth went very well and I appreciated the help from all the staff members there.
I had a crown (circa 1988) fall off. Review on first visit indicated crown needed replacement, a small cavity revealed by the missing crown needed attention and the other (circa 1988) crown was loose. Scheduled an appointment; was given an option for an earlier appointment that became available. Removing the second crown revealed a similar cavity needing attention. Comfortable and respectful
I have been going to the same dentist for like 20 years. Decided I needed to go elsewhere after my dental office could not keep hygienists or Dentists. It seems like every time I went it was someone different and I could not get in for 6 Month cleanings. All they ever did was a cleaning. I got a referral to Dr. Jana from a close friend and I am sure glad I did. My son is 6 and the dentist was very kind but literally spent less than 5 minutes with us, 2 of which was actually looking at his teeth. But we were certainly charged her full exam fee which seems ridiculous.
Dr. Jana has perfected dentistry as evidenced by having 2 crowns replaced in one day with ease and I felt just fine that night and the following day. She replaced old metal crowns I was allergic to with new metal-free ones the same day in her office. No need for any temporary.
great visit. Dr Ladley explains things so well and makes you feel so comfortable. She answers all your questions and makes sure you don’t leave with an unanswered question. i wish i could find a medical doctor like her!
