They scheduled an appointment for me 3 weeks prior to my upper endoscopy and when I went to the surgery center to have the procedure done, they informed me that my insurance had not yet been approved.! So they couldn't see me that day and I was already using a PTO day as well as having a family member drive 3 hours to Franklin so I would have a ride back after the surgery. Office staff is horrible …. Don’t answer phone … don’t send in prescription and dont tell you he didn’t !!!! Horrible definitely to not use this office or Dr!!! You’ve been warned !!
I worked in the medical field for 16 years. Not once did I ever come across a physician/specialist who didn't bother to so much as return a call to a patient urgently requesting a very basic, non-controlled, widely prescribed medication. A. It's been over a month since the first appointment, and the measly week's worth of samples ran out long ago. B. My husband and I both see him. We both had great experiences and after I saw a different GI doctor that was unhelpful; Davenport listened, was thorough, and figured out what was wrong with me! I will be going back to him in the future.
