I had Dr Doty as my surgeon almost 3 1/2 years ago. What exceptional hernia surgery he performed on me. A very professional doctor who explains your situation very clear and throughly and leaves nothing out. He is very caring, friendly and listens to you & answers all your questions throughly. I highly recommend him. I just saw him again and may need more surgery.
Great doctor
I was admitted into Westside Regional Hospital for emergency gall bladder surgery. I had complications prior and during my surgery. Dr. Doty and his partner Dr. Weinstein, were hands-on every step of the way, they were available, concerned and informative. My surgery ended up being complicated due to my infection. Today’s visit as a first time patient was just perfect. I like to thank the staff and most importantly Dr. Doty, I feel that doctor Doty save me from so much pain and agony from my appendix surgery which happen on May 25 surgery was the next day and I feel great, If anyone is looking for a great surgeon you better look up James Doty. This review has no reflection on Dr. Doty's skills as a surgeon. This is strictly a management rating. I was scheduled for appointment on a Friday and contacted less than 24 hours prior to reschedule as Dr Doty was going into OR. I called requesting other day as it was not a priority situation. I arrived timely following following Tues at 2p , was held over 1/12 hours, observed patients not being called for 2 hours and walked. No office management advised patients of good cause for delay.
