I was recently admitted to the ER where Lehr was the on call surgeon. I had a very acute gallbladder attack and his residents and imaging confirmed it needed to come out right away. His residents told me Lehr would be doing the surgery. When he finally came around to visit me in the hospital 12 hours later, he was very short with me, cut me off when I was telling him my medical history and proceeded to tell me he wouldn’t be doing the surgery and that his partner would be doing it but probably not for two days.
