Had emergency gallbladder removal at HCA. My first time ever admitted in a hospital, Dr Doty explained everything and everything went smooth. This was 8 months ago and I’ve had no complications at all. He’s very candid and blunt, personality borders on arrogant - but this is exactly what I want in my surgeon.
Well explained, questions answered, very professional. Minimal effects from surgery, rapid recovery without need for pain meds.
Dr Lehr is the best. Highly recommend him!
Let me start off by saying you should watch youtube videos of people who have had the hernia surgery so that you understand what to expect. My surgery went as expected. I had the robotic hernia surgery on lower right and left abdomen hernias with mesh repair. The first couple days are the worst that you will deal with after a hernia repair. I had a nagging hernia for over 2 years until I received a referral from my hip surgeon to make an appointment with Dr. Lehr. I am very happy with the great care from the first office visit, surgery & the follow up visit with Dr. Lehr & his staff gave me. I am back to my life & full routine in under 3 weeks.

Doctor and Surgeon Gary Lehr is an Excellent Professional, Surgeon, Doctor and Human Being. He treated and operated on my Father for a Hernia that left him without energy. My Father was sick, and Doctor Gary Lehr gave my father back his desire to eat, his energy, his spirit, and above all, he freed him from a pain that no longer allowed him to be himself. All I can say is that Dr. Lehr and his staff especially, Odie were wonderful! My surgery went well and I had a good recovery. Feeling good and happy I got out my gallbladder. Haven’t had a problem since. I would highly recommend Dr. Lehr as a General Surgeon.
