He isn't allowed to deliver babies because he had too many complaints and got in trouble for being inappropriate with women. And also writing scripts that he shouldnt have. My friend is an ob/gyn. He definitely should not be in practice. He told me straight up that I couldn't get my tubes tied (I was 22 with 2 children, both 2 months early and traumatic births) he told me the essure implants were the only way. They were recalled and how they even did them was the most unprofessionally way.
He is my doctor and I have been his patient for almost 20 years He is the best! He has delivered some of my grandchildren, which was how I met him and immediately liked him and will stay with him!
Went to dr wasson when I was pregnant with my daughter in 2015. I found it odd and inconvenient that I was told to go to Longview for delivery. He was inappropriate and not professional making comments that when the baby sucked on my "nasty word " I would lose weight he made me uncomfortable every time I went some of the staff was nice and others were distant and unwelcoming plus they don't allow children in the office past the age of 6 weeks although the office visits were short i would not recommend his practice to anyone ... read more
Before going to this doctor this is one thing you should really think about, his office is in Tyler, he gives births and c sections in Longview and does D&Cs in Jacksonville. So idk that just kinda seems weird to me. I barley ever talked to him, when I did he wanted to talk about my weight and I’m not even fat. and how I should actually be going to a dr in Athens (at the time I lived in canton, it’s literally the same amount of time pretty much) I had a miscarriage while In his care at 13 weeks, he actually answered my quest... read more
I am 66 years old and have been going to DR. Wasson for a long time. He has and his staff have never been rude or disrespectful. If I am sick and don't have an appointment, they work me in as soon as possible. He has never talked about anything that I was not comfortable hearing. If you don't like something he says, just tell him you'd rather not hear it. I know a lot of people that go to him and they have never had a bad experience with him or his staff. He was trying to take advantage of me since I was having abnormal bleeding and was scared. As soon as he began my pap smear he informs me that he sees a mass coming out of my cervix and its probably CANCER. NO further treatment just told me to get dressed. Nothing was explained at all! once pap results were back I was told to make an appointment for a procedure wasn't told why or what it was!!! This guy is a complete pervert. He kept calling me foxy and even made a comment about how tight I was down there. I can't believe I let this creep touch me... There's a reason this guy has openings.
DO NOT go to him. Very explicited inappropriate sexual talk. Made me feel uncomfortable.
I saw him to have my iud put in in 2010. He was rude and told me nothing. In 2013, when my iud came up missing and then was found almost up in my abdomen, I was forced to go back to him for removal. He should not be a dr and should no te allowed around women. He is a freaking pervert and incredibly disgusting. He made jokes that even my own mother thought was wrong.
