Absolutely - Dr Guyton is very thorough and takes time to listen and explain all the details in laymen terms that I could understand.
My first office visit with Dr. Guyton. He was recommended by a friend. I knew I had something wrong with my hip. While he explained what was wrong, he saw tears. He did not leave me until I felt better. He was very compassionate.
Dr. Guyton did a fantastic job on my knee replacement. I had a quick recovery and was able to move on with my life. The hospital was a great experience as well. I would recommend his professional services to anyone who is looking for an great orthopedic doctor!
Maybe he is a great surgeon - he replaced my dad's knee. When I saw him for a recheck of my perthes (bad one hurts me daily now), because it wasn't time to replace it, he told me I needed to lose weight, recheck in 2 years, and sent me on my way. I didn't even see or hear anything about the x-rays they took. Total time there was 2.5 hours. I only came back (from 2.5 hours away) to Campbell because this is where I went as a kid (8-14) when I was diagnosed with perthes; wouldn't come back again.
I met Dr. Guyton March 2013 after researching Doctors that performs total hip replacement surgery. I was suffering terribly with all the symptoms of needing my hip replaced. Dr. Guyton was the Surgeon who performed my surgery with compassion, expertise, professionalism, and experienced qualities and skills which are all the characteristics that I was looking for in a Doctor. I have no regrets and have been pain free since then. I highly recommend Dr. Guyton to anyone who is in need.
