Dr. Gluck is truly one of the best doctor's I have seen. I have had years of shoulder pain without any diagnosis and have seen multiple doctors. Due to Dr. Gluck's knowledge, thorough explanation and passion, I have been able to follow his treatment plan to lessen my pain. After a couple surgeries and PT, my shoulder pain is finally something I can live with. I would recommend him to everyone and anyone!
I went to go see him for a second opinion on my shoulder. One doctor told me I had a labrum tear but wanted to do PT. If that didn’t help then surgery. I was in a lot of pain and my doctor wasn’t being punctual so I went to dr Gluck. He didn’t even look at my mri and told me he saw nothing and to move around my arm to more extreme physical therapy and was in and out being rude. I was in tears. Now I go back to my current doctor and I tore straight through and have two more tears...? So I’m having surgery thanks dr Gluck. (Dr... read more
Our 14 year old son's hand was badly cut by a saw that kicked back while working on a project. The ER doctor told us there was only one doctor he would send his sone to with such severe injuries, and it was Dr Gluck. Dr Gluck had Michael in surgery for about 3 hours, and cautioned us not to expect completely normal use of the hand. It took time and physical therapy to get him back to amazing recovery of the use of his hand. Only those who knew could see the small things that were an indication of his injury.
Dr. Gluck has been fixing me up for many years of arthritis, non-working fingers, degenerating elbows, gunshot wounds, and general growing old stuff. He is honest without judgement, direct without arrogance, and professional without smugness. When my condition is beyond effective intervention, Dr. Gluck does not hesitate to tell me that "I'll have to deal with the symptoms" rather than encouraging me to try "iffy" surgery or injections. Jim is one of the good guys.
My front desk experience was horrific. I am seriously considering finding a new Dr because of my treatment at the front desk at the East office. The West office staff are amazing. Dr Gluck is a great doctor, but sometimes you feel rushed at your appointment. His PA is wonderful & I really like seeing him. Be prepared for a horrible check in and check out experience at the East office. Go West!!
He is one of the best surgeons around the area. I had severely cut up my hand and he was able to repair it to almost 100% use. I had cut several ligaments and nervs. The only thing negative was at my check up appointments, a couple times I felt like he was in a big hurry and was rushing through my visit.
Following a car accident in 2001, I was in intensive care with a crushed left hand and I was in intensive care with a crushed left hand and a broken neck. Nobody wanted to even look at my hand. I believe anyone they called wanted to amputate most of my hand. But Dr. Glock was willing to come in and see what he could do. Over three years and seven surgeries, he rebuilt my hand to almost full function. He is truly amazing!
