Dr Hoski has one of the best combinations of professionalism and personality I have ever seen. I was able to completely understand his explanation of the surgery. I never felt rushed on any of my visits. My pre-operative pain had completely disappeared when I awakened. I checked with nurses and patients before surgery and was well assured that I was in good hands. At my post-operative appointment I was 100% improved after a Minimally invasive lumbar laminectomy. Easy experience.
Having being in the unfortunate position of needing two different back procedures in the last 2 and a half years, I cannot say enough good things about the incredible work that Dr. Hoski preformed on me. He is very thorough in explaining the problems and procedures, and the follow-up after surgery is as good as it gets. Leg pain is gone and rehab should get me back in great health in the near future. I highly recommend his work and his staff.
First visit with Dr. Hoski was very informative. I was expecting a surgeon might have less people skills, but Dr. Hoski was quite easy to talk with, and he covered all aspects of my condition very thoroughly. I never felt rushed at all. He also gave me many pointers that will help me physically in the future. I would certainly return if I need to.
Dr. Hoski is my hero! His team of professionals are heroic too! After a year of being in pain and struggling with a work injury, Dr. Hoski took me on. I had neck surgery in C5-6 my arm pain and numbness went instantly away. Dr. Hoski made me feel comfortable, treated me as a valuable human being and helped me past some difficult experiences I have had over the past year. I am forever grateful. I have hope in my life again.
I have seen Dr. Hoski for lower back problems and have been extremely satisfied with the care and results received at each visit. He and his staff are very personable, genuine and professional. At each appointment I have gotten clear diagnosis of why I was having pain/discomfort as well as information about how to prevent further injury or problems.
Dr. Hoski is an incredibly kind and understanding doctor. I was in the worst place, physically that I have ever been in. Constant pain and very limited in my ability to complete tasks at work or even tie my shoes! His nurse and PA were also amazing. They were just a phone call away if I had a question. Before surgery and after during recovery. I have full confidence in this man and couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
Dr. Hoski has not been my surgeon, but I am a RN that takes care of his patients after surgery. I can say with 100% certainty that if I or one of my family members needed surgery on their spine that Dr. Hoski would be my first choice. He always takes the upmost care of his patients and thinks of them as though he is taking care of one of his own family members. I love taking care of his patients after surgery, they always have good pain control, recover quickly and have great long term results.
If I may quote my wife, “Dr. Hoski is special doctor.” On the four occasions we met, he gave me as much time as I wanted to ask questions, and he answered them in a way that a layperson could understand. He also meticulously reviewed with me my MRI and x-ray during my initial visit, which assuaged my concerns about any kind of back surgery. I felt he understood the pain I was in and that he cared about me. He’s a first-rate surgeon and an empathetic person. You could not ask for more.
Dr. Hoski conducted a thorough examination for my condition and spent 40 minutes in entirety with my husband and I; answering all questions and providing excellent patient education with regard to lifestyle changes, osteoporosis supplements and correct body mechanics / exercises to assist me in improving a chronic condition. Surgery was not immediately indicated and all the reasons why were explained in detail during his review of the studies confirming my condition. The care was outstanding.
