Husband had back pain and he told him to do yoga and lose weight. Finally when my husband could hardly walk he ordered an MRI. My husband had a tumor so big that his spinal fluid wasn't getting through. He could have been paralyzed. Stage 4 cancer. I would never recommend him to anyone.
Dr Burleson listens to what I'm saying. He understands and explains why we need to do this and that. For the past 4 years I've been traveling 2 hours to see him. He's worth it!
My PC was off when calling to get in, ASAP. The scheduler said Dr Burleson could see me that afternoon! Hallelujah! I had concern over my condition & am thankful I went! He was personable, friendly, and professional. He ordered a test and they called the next day to schedule it! March 6 I saw him. Test was done March 8. I see my PC March 23. But I might go earlier due to this situation. He provided wonderful care and listened! I’m grateful.
My husband and I are very pleased with the care we have received with Dr. Burleson. This doctor is compassionate and thorough. We have been going to this clinic for several years, we have always had great care and treatment here. I have had several major health issues , with some of these issues I needed a specialist, Dr. Burleson did not hesitate to refer me to a specialist when needed. We trust this doctor and his staff.
Dr. Burleson is extremely thorough, compassionate, and considerate of my health circumstances. He has always gone above and beyond to cater to my needs and answer all of my questions.
Very odd dr. Did not talk in complete sentences and did not seem to want to be around germs. Felt very strange at this appointment. Never experienced anything like it.
1. I came in with acne problems and he charged me $100 to refer me to a dermatologist 2. He told my grandmother that the bump on her finger was "from old age." She later got diagnosed with a goiter. 3. Last but NOT LEAST- he told my grandfather that he "just had heartburn." Currently, after consulting with a cardiologist my grandfather is recovering from a TRIPLE BYPASS because he had 80% blockage in his heart. If he had not seen another doctor besides James Burleson he would have died.
Detached and uninterested in patient concerns.
This doctor is arrogant and frankly a jerk. Horrible bedside manner and judges you based on opinion and not health facts.
