I am so grateful for Dr. Stoody! I have had unexplained neurological symptoms for well over two years now and started seeing Dr.Stoody a few months ago. He has been supportive and helpful and won't stop looking until he finds an answer. He has been very up front and honest with me every step of the way. My sister was treated by Dr. Chen for ovarian cancer in 2010. He knew what he was doing and dared to think outside the box. He had this positive aura with him that inpired hope in the patients. I attribute my sister's recovery to his excellent surgical skills and non-traditional treatment method.
Dr. Stoody is, by far, the WORST dr. I have ever come across. His bedside manner is awful, almost to the point where you kind of feel like you are on some hidden camera show. He will not let you ask any questions. I had nerve damage to my hand due to my IV being put in incorrectly when I had my first child. Hand was numb for 6 months. At my first visit he said, "So what do you want me to do?(very nasty tone). Told me I was wasting his time and that he thought I was lying!!! (verbatum). Dr Tina Found an illness in my wife (cancer) that four other doctors did not find.
He may not have a fabulous bed-side manner initially, but he is exceptionally intelligent, and he is an amazing doctor. He truly cares about me and my health. Everyone has a different way of expressing their concern for an individual (patient), but I know that he truly cares and it shows by the way I am treated, medically and personally. don't know how knowledgeable doctor is. staff cancelled my stress test they did not call to reschedule until I wrote a letter cancelling him as my doctor. his staff delays info to other doctor, they do not follow through, and there is no communication in his office. the staff with two exceptions are rude.
Very satisfied with Dr. Tina. Had been seeing a hack for years and finally made the change to a doctor who really listens, is interested in getting you healthy rather than just scratching a prescription.
He was an excellent doctor in diagnosing my mom with a rare bone condition. He was thorough in both taking the history and his lab tests to get to the bottom of my mom's disorder that no other hematologist could answer.
