I would not recommend Dr. Stoody to anybody, I have been seeing Dr. Stoody since jan. and the first appt. I had with him I got the feeling that he tought what are you doing here like I just dropped in off of the street, so I thought maybe he was having a bad day,but the next three times I went in to see him he was actually very nice, so I thought that maybe he really was having a bad day the first day I had met him, until today! I went in for my appt. and he was very rude, short with me,did not seem concered about my conditi... read more

My neurologist retired, so my primary referred me to Dr. Stoody. I wasn't sure how to take him at first, but soon became comfortable with his personality. He isn't as warm as my other doctor, but he is genuinly concerned about me. He listens to my input, and allows me to have some "say-so" before making any decisions.I trust his judgement, as I have had some of the best doctors in California before coming to him, and know what to look for. I know my own body, and he was very attentive to this. He was clear in his understandi... read more

Because of insurance changes,I had to switch neurologists. I chose Dr. Stoody since he came recommended by a doctor friend. I wasn't sure what to expect but I am very satisfied. The fact that I have to see a neurologist at all is not pleasant. But I go in with my questions and, after Dr. Stoody does a thorough exam, I ask them. I never feel rushed and I have even suggested an alternative method! We talked about it and he found it reasonable. I am very pleased with him and would gladly recommend him.

He is VERY arrogant, does not respond to any patients questions and is even more short and arrogant if you question him. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Dr Stoody is a life saver he sees the big picture and is willing and able to direct his patients in the right direction. He is direct and to the point regarding treatment, but is honest with you. So happy to have found him.

Dr. Stoody has THE WORST bedside manner I have ever come across in a doctor. He is rude, never smiles, never apologizes for anything, he is a man of VERY few words, shows no empathy or understanding and makes you feel non-existant. I do NOT reccommend him.

Dr. Stoody is very helpful and thorough. I have especially appreciated his time and effort in figuring out what is going on in my brain. We are still ruling things out and his patients and determination has been very comforting.

When Dr. Stoody diagnosed my occasional stress-related-muscle-spasms as epilepsy, I was shocked. Anyone with the Internet can discover that chronic migrane sufferers have similar EEG readings. This stubborn MD refused to give any answers when I questioned his findings. He does not accept or even listen to, anyone challenging his "professional" opinion. I refused to take the medication he prescribed so he sent his diagnosis to the DMV, who then suspended my license. He determined that I am a "threat to society due to the POSSI... read more

Thankfully, I had already been diagnosed by my primary care physician before I saw Dr. Stoody. He doesn't let you ask questions, does not listen and I got all the information on my disease from the internet. Dr. Stoody's office is very un-helpful also, I have to keep calling and calling for referrals and authorizations myself. I worked in the medical field for several years, so I know how things are done. I feel sorry for people that are trusting him and his office to take care of them. I suggest having an assertive friend o... read more
