Dr Stanton referred me to Dr Balserak after results from a CT Scan showed an issue on the right side of my thyroid.The biopsy showed I had papillary thyroid cancer and needed a total thyroidectomy. I questioned if surgery was done as I felt no pain. I do not take pain meds. I had a parathyroid and accompanying benign tumor removed, then a month later had my gallbladder removed, both times by Dr. Balserak. Excellent doctor! Best of the best!
Dr. Balserak is the Best of the Best! My family has needed a surgeon in the past years, we have been so LUCKY to have Dr. Balserak every time. We only trust him! If you need a surgeon or advise if you need surgery must make appointment with Dr. Balserak. Best person I have had the pleasure with. Great Military Person too. Trust him he is the best! I just had a complete thyroidectomy by Dr. Balserak, he was very professional, very through with me and his care was amazing, he called me personally the day after the surgery to check on me and also one week later to check on me asked if I had any questions or concerns answered them all very well and gave me test results. I would totally recommend him and his staff and surgery center.
Dr. Balserak is an excellent surgeon. I was very scared going in with having to have the right side of my thyroid removed. He not only sat with me and thoroughly explained what was going to happen and what to expect, but answered ALL of my questions. It was easy to communicate with him and his office. I'm very grateful for his work.
He is a good surgeon but would not return my call right after surgery and would not prescribe anything for pain because I used pain management in the past. The office lady was screaming at me while I was waking up from surgery because no one wanted to give anything for pain. I wish I could go back and choose a better doctor and surgery center. Please do research before coming to this doctor!
Dr. Balserak is an excellent surgeon. He is professional, kind, patient, understanding, and a very effective communicator. I completely trust his skill as a medical professional and wouldn't think to see anyone else.
