I had an excellent experience with Dr. Battle - he was polite, concise, and surprisingly recommended that I could wait on Cataract Surgery. . . This was far from what another cataract surgeon had told me and who had removed the cataract from my other eye with attendant problems afterward - what a relief to get an honest opinion, and I'm happy I can at least wait another year or perhaps longer to monitor it and when needed, have the surgery. I have had 2 cataract surgeries and 1 YAG Laser OS by Dr. James Battle at the Johnson City Eye Clinic in Johnson City, Tennessee. I have had no problems with all procedures. Both the Eye Center and Dr. Battle have operated with clear and specific instructions and have done everything to make sure I understand the information. I just completed the YAG procedure and was called about a day later to see if all was OK. I told them it was and will have a complete follow-up shortly.
